July 17 Update - The Spectator Luncheon is Sold-Out.
The Spectator Luncheon is held on Sunday under a fully decorated tent, overlooking the stadium arena, and is a country chic event! Guests enjoy a seated luncheon and ladies are requested to wear hats, if convenient. A delicious multi-course buffet features local products. Guests enjoy stadium jumping, the Collector Car Parade, and the presentation of the Fitch's Corner Award, which is given annually to a person or organization who has made outstanding contributions to the equestrian community.
The Luncheon benefits the Millbrook Rescue Squad, a volunteer emergency medical squad that is a unit of the Millbrook Fire Department. Voted best emergency rescue squad in Northern Duchess County, the rescue squad provides emergency services to the entire community, including the rider who takes the occasional fall. The Fitch’s Corner Spectator Luncheon has benefited the Millbrook Rescue Squad for the past 23 years and has raised in the neighborhood of $400,000. This has helped to purchase a new ambulance for this not-for-profit community organization. The Millbrook Rescue Squad will be on hand to provide emergency medical services throughout the weekend.
