USEA Sanctioned Horse Trials & CIC* Division
JULY 25th through JULY 27th, 2008 - Celebrating our 15th year, Fitch's Corner Horse Trials has become one of Millbrook's (NY) premier equestrian events attracting over 250 competitors. The rural setting of Millbrook with its great expanse of countryside and picturesque farms is the ideal location for horse, rider and spectator. All courses are updated by Captain Mark Phillips for 2008. Over 2500 spectators and participants enjoyed the weekend last year.
Our first CIC* will be held over the three day weekend - see Omnibus listing for qualifications.
$5000 Prize money and special awards will be presented.
Back by Popular Demand - The Masters Division
Two divisions will be offered: Novice Riders age 40-49, and Novice Riders age 50+.
The cross country will be run over
a championship level course.
$1,200 in prize money plus trophy and ribbons and other sponsored awards in each division.
The division will be run on USEF rules; riders in this division may
not have competed in more than two horse trials at the training level
of above within the previous 24 months.
